The Tennyson Hotel stands proudly as one of Merivale's latest additions to its impressive portfolio of over 70 venues. An iconic art deco pub situated on Botany Road, just a stone's throw from Sydney’s Mascot airport. This venue is a laid-back sports bar where everyone can feel at home watching a game or catching up with a mate over a beer.

Project scope + results

Tennyson Hotel recently introduced additional offers for their daily specials, spanning the entire week from Monday to Sunday. Seeking a fresh approach, the venue aimed to move away from their existing collateral aesthetic, characterised by plain text on a green and cream background. The goal was to attract a demographic that appreciates visually striking and emotive collateral to showcase their daily specials.

I expanded their existing colour palette, incorporating a variety of shades, and introduced hand-drawn illustrations. The intention was to seamlessly transition from the existing creative to the new collateral, engaging the audience with eye-catching and emotionally resonant promotional material.
